A fun-filled ferry awaits all kids!

A fun-filled ferry awaits all kids!

M/S Viking Grace will be providing an array of fun and games for the younger guests. The different recreational areas have all been tailored to suit the individual needs of each age-group. There will also be many activities in which whole families can partake. The settings created by the lighting and music will serve to enhance the festive mood, as will karaoke, limbo contests, face painting, disco and bingo.

Playroom for the tots on deck 10 (recommended age: 0-6 years)

Spending time here will be a breeze. The ball pond, undeniably every child’s favorite, will now be further enhanced by a climbing wall. Great care has, of course, been taken to make sure that safety comes always first. The smallest guests will enjoy the comfort of their own crawling corner, surrounded by plenty of seats for the grown-ups. To cater for parents with babies, the bathroom has been equipped with a changing table. Children can be left under the supervision of professional caretakers, giving adults the chance to spend some time alone. Activities will include games, arts and crafts, face painting, story telling and singing – and parents are more than welcome to join if they wish!

Deck 11 – for the older kids (recommended age 6-12 years)

This area is packed to the brim with many different activities. Action-packed competitions and tricky quizzes will be sure keep kids entertained. There will be a wide range of games available including Kinect, Xbox games, interactive touch-screen games, films, books, magazines and funny mirrors. Ferry-orienteering will certainly be one of the more exciting activities on the event agenda. During the summer the conference department will be remodeled exclusively with kids in mind. Bouncing castles and other activities will become familiar features for kids enjoying their summer vacation on board.

A Teens’ room can be found on deck 9

The teens will have their very own Microsoft-sponsored area – one which will feature films, music, games, quizzes, karaoke and internet access. Teens will also have their own orienteering events and exciting sleuth-like photo hunts.

Pre-book for guaranteed access to the best experiences

There are a lot of things you can pre-book before embarking on your cruise. What could be more fun than a birthday party on board? Or a private karaoke contest? Games and competitions can be arranged on-request for private groups.

Enjoy the company of Ville Viking

Our very own resident mascot and cat Ville Viking will be spreading cheer throughout the ferry. Do you know the story of how he came to our ferry? According to Ville, he simply followed his sense of smell. This led him to a most delightful scent – the source of the best meatballs, succulent salmon and delicious ice cream. The thought of travelling the big, blue seas was also just as enticing. After deciding on a life at sea, Ville visited his friend Nalle the teddy bear to tell him the great news: they were both to leave the forest behind them. Instead, they were to become a boat-cat and a boat-bear. Nalle wasn’t quite sure about what this meant but he was excited all the same. Ville led them both back to the ferry by following the scent of meatballs once more, and this marked the start of Ville’s and Nalle’s new lives as resident cat and bear. And the story doesn’t end there.
