Introducing new restaurants to the Baltic Sea

M/S Viking Grace is something unprecedented also when it comes to restaurants. Seven exciting restaurants and bars offer a wide variety of food, drink and snacks. The total number of seats in all the restaurants on board exceeds 2000. Interior design by dSign Vertti Kivi & Co, nominated as the interior architects of the year 2011 in Finland.

Oscar à la carte restaurant

Oscar, with its classic cuisine influenced by Scandinavian specialities, represents culinary fine dining highlights. The restaurant serves special breakfast, lunch, dinner, group menus and supper.

The cuisine is characterized by high professional class, excellent ingredients, personal service and a superb wine list. While enjoying their meal the guests are entertained by a pianist or soft background music. The large windows of the restaurant offer an unforgettable view of the sea and archipelago.

Oscar Special Breakfast is the first breakfast served in a relaxed atmosphere before arrival in Turku or Stockholm. A glass of sparkling wine is included in the price. The breakfast is included in the price for a Premium cabin and a Suite.

- In all the restaurants on board M/S Viking Grace the cooks will have a more visible role. The meals are prepared carefully from excellent ingredients for best results. Tasting our dishes should be a special experience as such, we like to surprise our customers, says Robert Salmi, Chef of the ship.

Seamore, champagne and wine bar

The lounge Seamore offers the fabulous view of the most beautiful archipelago in the world. This is the place to enjoy an aperitif, a cocktail, a glass of wine or a bottle of champagne before having dinner in Oscar.

With its excellent professional personnel, Seamore is a champagne and wine bar which provides an assortment of champagne and selected wines fulfilling international standards. Next to the bar there is a ”takeaway wine shop” selling top quality wines probably for the best prices in the world.

Frank’s, a modern drop in restaurant

The modern restaurant Frank’s serves lunch and dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. The guests will be given a pay card to register the products they buy in the restaurant.

Both the ingredients and specific skill contribute to the high quality of the food. The restaurant provides a menu with a wide assortment ranging from pizzas and pastas to juicy steaks, hamburgers and fresh salads.
Frank’s Bar offers fresh wines – white, red, rosé and dessert wines – as well as a cocktail menu, a selection of desserts, coffees and dessert drinks.

Aurora, the pleasant buffet restaurant

The largest restaurant on board offers a pleasant atmosphere which can be changed by lighting for different times of the day. In the morning Aurora is a light breakfast restaurant and in the evening a cosy dinner restaurant divided into smaller spaces for more intimacy.

The restaurant offers a high-quality buffet including food and drink at a reasonable price. There are both a traditional smörgåsbord and interesting dishes from the international cuisine. Delicious ”eye-catchers” are served following special themes, such as seafood.

Drinks for the meals such as white and red wine, strong beer, cider and soft drinks, juice, milk and coffee are included in the price. Light beer/non-alcoholic wine are served on request. Schnapps, aperitif, avec and bottles of wine from well-known wine houses are available for extra charge. Children have their own buffet with carefully selected homely food.

Sweet & and Salty, café with snacks

S & S is a modern café with timeless and inviting interior decoration. Breakfast is served in the morning, and later in the day S & S becomes a cosy place for having lunch. In the evenings S & S attracts those who want to have a quick and simple dinner or a snack. Moreover, the café provides the last chance to eat on board before bedtime.

The café has seven different sections – Salad & Sandwich, Bakery & Desserts, Takeaway, Homely food, Coffee & Hot Drinks, Soft drinks/beer/wine and Ice cream.

Retro, relaxed bar & dancing

Retro is the cosy and relaxed ”living room” on board Viking Grace.

Entertainment in Retro is fixed day by day according to the customers’ wishes. At the beginning of the week mostly traditional dance music is played, while at week-ends the entertainment is full of action. Karaoke can also be arranged here, along with dancing and community singing. During summer and holiday season the place can be used for children’s programs.

Rockmore Bar, a rocking After Sea bar

Rockmore Bar is a modern bar with several facets. One can enjoy the After Sea atmosphere until early morning. The romantic ”rock-rustic” interior decoration gives an impulsive impression. In Rockmore Bar you can loosen your tie and enjoy for a moment with style and perhaps some attitude.
